A couple of announcements and a layout to share.

Over the weekend the "Sisterhood of Scrap" Forum hosted their second "One Hour Sketch Challenge". Sketch was provided by Deanne Burton from "Am I a Scrap Addict".
You may find Deanne's Sketches on her "Just My Sketches Blog".
What fun and a great way to learn to focus on the task at hand.

My layout is one of many that I would like to get done from my Genealogy hunting with my cousin, in our search of the sites that go along with our ancestors written trail.

Next up...Create IT- Green will be hosting a Second Blog Hop on the 6TH of February. Just in time for Valentines Day.
There will be prizes offered and inspiration for creating those Green Holiday projects!

And last but not least...We have "Cooking With Carla"

Carla has started a Monday Cooking Carnival on her blog.

Each Monday has it's own theme and she encourages you to share your recipes and a link . What a great way to find new recipes! I for one am always interested in ways to add new recipes into the family meals.

Create It- Green Design Reveal

Today Create It- Green is having their first DT Reveal!

Once a month Create It- Green DT will be hosting projects, Scrapbook and Card Sketches.
All contain some type of recycled or refurbished idea.

Here is my first contribution .
Felt Heart Refrigerator Magnets for Valentines Day.
Using the large advertisement magnets that came in our local phone book and last years Magnet Calendars from the Doctors office helped to create this Eco friendly project.

Free Digital Heart Border

Hello Crafty Bloggers :)

The New Year has arrived and is now 11 days old.

In that short period of time there have been joys and there have been sorrows.

There has also been a wipe out on my keyboard...happy to report, that issue has been fixed !!

A little tip... if you loose your space key... (hold down the Alt key, then press 3 than 2 that should give you a space) took me forever to locate a shortcut for this!!

I have been trying to get my crafty groove going ...slow going on that end.

When I get stuck doodling seems to help get me started.
