Happy New Year

Hope, everyone has had a peaceful and Happy Winter holiday's season celebration.

This poor old Blog of mine sure has been neglected this year.

Not, for a want of some great crafty, scrappy ideas or projects that I have come across in my blogger travels .

There are some wonderful techniques and projects out there that have been shared.

 To many Hats for me and not enough hands for the day ! ; )

Still here, though  : )

Looking forward to a Fresh New Year!

  I am going to attempt to clean up and organize this blog.

Hoping, it will make it a little easier to find links and projects I have shared with you all in the past and will be bringing to you in this New Year.

To end off the last post of the year for me.

I just want to give you a little update on what is happening with the ladies at the "Sisterhood of Scrap" Forum for the month of January.

Going to be some fun Challenges for you all.

*We are going to be having a photo challenge by our esteemed photographer Sonya!! (Can't wait for this one!).

*Colleen, our culinary queen, is going to host a Recipe Challenge of sorts!!
*We are going to be presenting a "Sister Blog" of the month!! Not telling you who the first one will be 'cause I don't know!
*We are going to be having a one-hour crop on January 23d hosted by Helen!
*We are going to be holding a "January White Sale" Contest (that will be flipping amazing!) with a prize to be won.
*And there will be a few other things too, but I can't tell you yet...

For those of you who are staying home to quietly bring in the New Year of 2011.

Scrapadabadoo will be hosting a New Year's Eve bash with projects and prizes to help bring in the Mo Jo for 2011!

Thanksgiving Preparation

Hope everyone had a spooktacular Halloween this year.

Hard to believe it has all ready come and gone.

Now, is the time to begin preparation for the Thanksgiving Holiday here in the states.

Found my way to this blog "Purple Trails" Social Couture via a comment left on my Thanksgiving Centerpiece post.

So many helpful ideas, to help in your party planning as we move closer into the Holiday Celebrations.

I'm game for any ideas that help this busy time to flow smoothly.

Challenge #6 Yellow, Red and Green

Options for Challenge # 6 a Card or layout using the colors red,yellow & Green.

Thought I would share a few more Pin Cushions that I created ,the weather has been so nice I just had to take myself out to the deck and enjoy the beautiful day...just a bit windy for paper,thought it would be a good time to finish up some of those stocking stuffers!

I decided to do the card sketch..I really need the practise ! and also the prize draw is some really nice Cardstock from StampinUp ..lol !

Blog Party & Family News

For all those friends and family,Mother has made the move safely down here to my neck of the woods!
So far she is loving it and having fun exploring her surroundings.
She will be back up north for a visit within the next couple of weeks and looks forward to sharing with all of you soon.
Keep a spot at the Friday night dinner outing for us !! :)

Birthday Scrap~a~bration

Oh Boy...it's a Birthday Bash at Scrapbook Heaven

they will be hosting an all weekend crop on their message board.

"Scrapbook Heaven" was my first online experience in shopping online for supplies.

The need grew from such a limited amount of supply stores in my area.

I was very pleased with the products and prices...my order was at my door

before the week was out.

All arriving in excellent condition ..they also threw in an extra goodie..as a thank you.

How nice was that!

Since that time I have branched out to many other stores and my first online store

went to the back of the line....why I have no idea.

In my adventures of online shopping,Scrapbook Heaven

is one that has stood at the top of my list for Customer Service.

Still keep their business card taped to my desk as a reminder.

Revisiting their site again this morning,

I discovered that I recognised some of the DTMs who will be hosting the crop.

Have participated in some online crops with some of these talented ladies

on other sites and they were always so much fun!

They have a timeline and project list posted already.

Check it out and see if you might have time to fit some of this

into your downtime this weekend.

Lots of fun filled inspiration to get some of those pages completed.
